Your training certificates

Find the certificate of each completed training, its number and until when it is valid, and see when the training is due again.

Each time you complete a training topic, Employee AZ records a certificate for that completion: a number, a verification code, the date you completed the training and until when it is valid. Your employer sees the same certificate on your record in Management AZ. A certificate is a record you read on screen; there is no certificate file to download.

Where to find your certificates

  • In the menu, under Health & Safety, select Training, then the Completed tab. Each topic you completed is listed once, the most recent first, with its result, its signatures and its current certificate. Open Attempts, signatures and certificates under a topic to see the certificate of each completion, the Assessment attempts and the Signatures, including those of earlier completions of the same topic.
  • In the menu, under Me, select Documents. Under Training records and certificates, Training certificates lists the current certificate of each topic with its state, its number, the date you completed it and its validity. To show only this part of the page, select the Training filter. The verification code is not shown here: Certificate numbers, verification codes and validity, on the Completed tab of Training takes you to it.

A certificate appears as soon as the topic is complete. For how to get there, see Complete a training topic.

What a certificate shows

Label What it means
Certificate The certificate number, for example TC-2026-7KQM4XRD: TC, the year you completed the training, then eight letters and digits. Every completion gets a number of its own.
Verification code Sixteen letters and digits, shown in four groups of four. It identifies this certificate in your employer's records, next to its number.
Completed The day you completed the training. Validity is counted from that moment.
The validity badge Whether the certificate is still valid, and until when. See What the validity says.
Issued for earlier training Your employer issued this certificate afterwards, for a training you completed before it had one.

What the validity says

Periodic training, and any other topic that recurs on a schedule, is valid for the period its schedule sets, counted from when you completed it. Training you do once, such as introductory or on-the-job training, does not expire.

On Completed On Documents What it means
Valid until and a date Valid More than 30 days of validity are left.
Expires in a number of days, or Expires today Expiring soon 30 days or fewer of validity are left.
Expired on a date Expired The certificate has ended. If the training is still required, it is on your To do list.
No expiry No expiry Training you do once. The certificate does not end.
Revoked on a date, with your employer's reason Revoked Your employer withdrew the certificate. See If a certificate is revoked.
  • Under Attempts, signatures and certificates, the certificate of an earlier completion reads Replaced, with the date of the completion that replaced it, or Replaced by a later completion.
  • No certificate yet. Your employer can issue it. The training is complete but has no certificate. Your employer can issue one in Management AZ.
  • Certificates could not be loaded right now. Your certificates could not be read just now. This does not mean you have none; try again in a few minutes. In Documents the same problem reads This could not be loaded right now.
  • While no certificate has been recorded for you, Documents says No training certificate yet.

When the training is due again

For periodic training, the day the certificate ends is the day the training is next due.

  • While it is not due yet, the topic on Completed shows Next due and the date. Coming up lists the same date, how many days are left and when you last completed the topic. Until you complete a periodic training, Coming up says Nothing is scheduled yet.
  • The topic moves back to To do 30 days before its certificate ends. For a training valid for less than 60 days, it moves back once half of its validity has passed.
  • Once it is back on To do, the topic on Completed says Due again by a date, or Due again: overdue since a date, with a link, Go to To do. If you began it again and that session expired, it says Due again: your last session expired.
  • When you complete the topic again, the new completion gets a certificate with a new number, and the earlier certificate is marked as replaced.

If a certificate is revoked

Your employer can revoke a certificate, for example when a completion was recorded by mistake. The certificate stays listed, marked as revoked on that day, with the reason your employer gave. Nothing is deleted, and the training's signatures do not change. Unless another certificate of the same topic still counts, the topic goes back on your To do list so that you can complete it again. Ask your employer if the reason is unclear.

Certificates and signatures

The certificate is recorded as soon as the topic is complete. It does not wait for the signatures. The signatures of the Employee, the Employer and the OHS provider are shown next to it, and the topic is marked Fully signed once all three have signed.

If your employer is in Romania, your training is also entered on your Individual training record (fișa individuală de instruire), the Romanian record of your training and its signatures. Find it under Me, Documents: it shows the Current version for each contract (the Final version once the contract has ended), and All versions and the live preview opens every stored version. It exists only for employers in Romania. See Find your documents.

Note
  • Safety AZ has no page where someone can look up a certificate number or a verification code. To show your training to someone, show them the certificate on screen or ask your employer.
  • Certificates belong to the training you completed for this employer. Training you did for another employer is not listed here.
